Even with the conveniences of technology, we are still compelled to get more done in less time. This workshop is for those who feel perpetually overwhelmed and overworked. Come learn how to strip meaningless activities that occupy your time. Objective: Our goal is to assist you in de-stressing and to nourish your mind, body, and spirit which will yield big rewards for the library.

Is the fear of public speaking in the way of your success?  Are you afraid to stand up and speak your mind?  Do you want to be able to communicate more effectively at work?  Are you interested in improving your speaking skills during meetings, presentations, or by motivating people? And, are you searching for a positive, friendly atmosphere that will build your confidence and boost your self-esteem? Objective: You’ll build a better “speaking” you by developing your public speaking abilities and presentation skills.  Emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals of developing quality speeches. Participants will also deliver impromptu speeches in an experienced and poised manner and receive friendly evaluations and feedback to be used for their personal growth and development.
