Often school media specialists and their libraries are the most vulnerable when school budgets get slashed. What can you do? First, you must be able to measure the value of your library and second, to be able to communicate that value and demonstrate your library's impact on the school and community.
This webinar, developed in New Jersey and using WebJunction "Demonstrating Impact" documents, utilizes the "Valuing Libraries Toolkit". It's a simple method to quickly calculate a library's return on investment and demonstrate its value.
