In a new survey of Americans’ attitudes and expectations for public libraries, the Pew Research Center finds that many library patrons are eager to see libraries’ digital services expand, yet also feel that print books remain important in the digital age.

The meeting also featured our first ever silent auction. The NEFLIN Board of Directors recently established the Jim Morris Scholarship Fund, in the memory of Jim Morris.
We are pleased to announce that the auction raised $1,137 for the fund!

The theme this year was Libraries are Magic!.
Brad started his report with the disclaimer that a professional magician was not in the budget, and his brother-in-law only did kid's parties. However, using the magic of the Internet he did learn a magic trick, and with the able assistance of Bonnie Smith was able to get the meeting off to a fun start.
