CONTENTdm Beyond Basic

If you are already using CONTENTdm, or are ready for the more advanced implementation, this workshop will build on the morning’s content and more.
  • We’ll see and discuss more Florida successes and other CONTENTdm users, including basic and advanced uses
  • The workshop handout will enable how to start using the CONTENTdm Project Client
  • We’ll cover setting up and how to use the CONTENT dm Administrative services to generate one or more additional collections; setting up new fields, indexing, controlled vocabulary
  • Digital items used for demonstrating and showing steps and procedures to do images and text projects
  • Learn how to search and use your digital resources, and thus promote them to your constituents
All Florida libraries are eligible to receive:
  • The CONTENTdm software hosted by OCLC
  • Three downloadable Project Clients for building your digital collections, and
  • 10GB of storage for up to 3,000 digital items
Please bring a USB flash drive with 5-10 TIFF or JPEG images and 2-3 PDF documents.
